Backline Technician: A Backline Technician can be a person or a group of people that provides technical support to live performances. Depending on the on what type of event they a needed in they can do a plethora of tasks to assist the performers, i.e sort out percussion or restring stringed instruments. Usually Backline Technicians are specialised in specific instruments for performances. So you could have a range of people on stand by for if an incident occurs with something like a synth stops working, or a guitar string breaks. As an example you would have a backline technician specialised in drums for that performance, so they would build the drum kit for the drum player, and keep strong communication with the drummer as if something happens to the drums, the drummer needs to tell the backline technician to he can fix it straight away.
